Flipping Bitcoin

As cryptocurrencies evolve, seeing more technologically advanced coins surpassing their predecessors is far from uncommon. On the small scale, this happens all the time. Cardano

Although Cardano is significantly less widespread than Ethereum, it still has the potential to eventually flip both Bitcoin and Ethereum. From the user’s point of view, Cardano behaves quite similarly to Ethereum. Both projects feature homogenous smart contract capabilities; however, Cardano has been far more rigorously tested and peer reviewed than Ethereum. Dogecoin

There is a relatively large cross section of cryptocurrency investors who believe that Dogecoin has the potential to overtake Bitcoin as the world’s predominant cryptocurrency. Although Dogecoin has seen some outlandishly good price action within the last year, its tokenomics will likely act as its Achilles heel. Bitcoin and Dogecoin share many similarities, however, they are also divided by one fundamental difference: Dogecoin is inflationary, and Bitcoin is deflationary. For this reason, it is unlikely that Dogecoin will ever be able to truly surpass Bitcoin, and become the world’s predominant cryptocurrency.
