Cardano (ADA) Turns Four Years Old!

February 29th, 2021 marks the Cardano protocol’s Fourth birthday! On Wednesday, the Cardano team made an announcement detailing the celebration of the project. The celebration was hosted at several locations as well as online. Due to covid, this is the first time the Cardano Foundation was able to host a live event since the Project turned two, back in 2019.

“#ADAversary3” Celebration of 2020

Last year, the Cardano Foundation urged fans of the project to participate in an online celebration, by creating and sharing any Cardano related material they would like. Cardano collected and shared the community content overtime on various social media platforms. There was a relatively large amount of content created by the Cardano fanbase, mostly consisting of Cardano stories, specially written songs, photos, and a variety of other material.

Cardano’s Progress

The Cardano protocol has seen many advancements within this last year. From the projects listing on Grayscale, to the implementation of the new Shelley mainnet, Cardano’s development does not seem to be showing any signs of slowing down in the near future. “We have already achieved so much this year with the rollout of Shelley, the transition to the Shelley mainnet, the strengthening of our Foundation’s leadership, and multiple other milestones” the Cardano Foundation stated on their blog. “Soon, we will also begin the rollout of the first Goguen components and launch our Developer Portal.”

Not only has Cardano made great technological advancement over the course of this year, but the ADA has shown some unbelievably bullish price action as well. At the beginning of 2021, Cardano went from trading around $0.25 all the way up to a peak of over $3 last August.
