Miami Tech Month

Miami NFT week is the first event in a series of events which will kick off Miami Tech Month. Miami Tech Month takes place throughout all the month of April and is heavily focused around cryptocurrency and the development of web3 technologies. Every single day of Miami Tech Month features events held all around the “Capital of Capital” Miami, Florida. New events are being added to the roster each day leading up to Miami Tech Month and events will continue to be added to the roster throughout all of April.

Miami’s Crypto Initiatives

Miami Tech Month is one of the fruits of the effort to transform Miami into one of the worlds major tech hubs. The city of Miami and many of its residents have been working tirelessly towards this goal for over a decade; the entire time embracing the potential of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology as the backbone of the movement. Within the last few years however, the already rapid growth of this movement has accelerated ten-fold with the growing amount of interest in web3 development platforms like Ethereum, Solana and now Cardano.

Another driving factor behind the rapid tech growth taking place in the “Magic City” has to do with the online recruitment campaigns led by the Mayor of Miami, Francis Suarez. Mayor Suarez, who also holds the chair of President of the U.S. Conference of Mayors, has put forward many initiatives for the growth of cryptocurrency related companies, such as government funding for cryptocurrency projects within the city. Big name cryptocurrency companies such as Blockchain.com, FTX Exchange, and MoonPay are all taking advantage of these initiatives and are working towards creating hundreds of new cryptocurrency related jobs in Miami, all within a short few years to come.

Miami NFT Week

Miami NFT Week takes place at the Mana Wynwood Convention Center and is the most anticipated NFT event on the planet. Amongst the 200 plus speakers, Miami NFT Week will feature speakers such as Mayor Francis Suarez of Miami Florida, Mark Cuban – Entrepreneur and investor, as well as owner of the Dallas Mavericks, and Angela Antony – Founder and CEO of Scoutible.
